I started making jewlery about 8 years ago. It has been so fun seeing myself grow as an artist. Since coming to college, I began selling my jewlery at craft fairs and have recived such positive feedback on my work. I decided to take an Intro to Jewlery & Light Metals class this semester. I was looking foward to making my Pinterest board come to life! Working with metals prooved to be harder then what I was expecting. There was lots of trial and error, but towards the end of the semester I was starting to understand everything better. I’m really looking foward to see what I create next!

For my final project, we were asked to make a collection of work. My idea was to create a way to display my jewelry while also being an art piece of art on its own. Since the holidays were coming up, I was inspired to make something festive! My idea was to create a Christmas tree and have the earrings acting as ornaments when they are shown on display. This works perfectly for the Chrismas Markets I will be working at this holdiay season.
